With sincere thanks…
We would like to credit the following individuals and express our gratitude for their work in capturing Benjamin Zander’s legacy through video, audio, and visual projects over the past fifty years. Most items showcased in the Benjamin Zander Center have been crafted thanks to the hard work of gifted multimedia experts and organizations.
For nearly two decades, a broadcast partnership between the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and WGBH yielded a large catalog of concert recordings for radio broadcast. Now, in conjunction with WGBH, The Benjamin Zander Center is delighted to be making many of these recordings available publicly for the first time since airing on the radio. We would like to thank WGBH, as well as their team of engineers and producers from throughout the years, for their support of our efforts to bring these recordings back into the world.
As you browse the Audio section of the site, note that all performance recordings are available for free on-demand streaming. Listeners who would like to purchase direct downloads can do so by clicking on the shopping cart icon in the audio player.
Boston Musicians Association
We are deeply grateful to the leadership of the Boston Musicians Association (Local 9-535 of the American Federation of Musicians) for their willingness to grant permission to make audio and video footage of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra available to the public.
