Introduction

In the summer of 2022, the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra set out on their most ambitious tour yet: A Tour of Possibility to Greece. Over the course of fourteen days, the orchestra, their Music Director Benjamin Zander, and soloists Sofia Fomina and Zlatomir Fung gave six concerts whilst traversing the country with an incredible itinerary. In addition, and in fulfillment of the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra’s motto of “Shaping Future Leaders Through Music”, the tour featured numerous opportunities to collaborate with local young musicians.
